Warning Description: Special Weather Statement

Warning Date: 7:53 am EST on February 12, 2012

WarningSum:...Elevated Fire Danger Today...

Warning Message:Red flag warning criteria will not be met today due to
marginal wind...as winds today will be northwest 10 to 15 mph with
gusts near 20 mph. However...very dry conditions are
expected...with minimum relative humidity values this afternoon
around 15 percent. Low humidity and low fuel moisture will result
in elevated fire danger.
The South Carolina forestry commission has posted a red flag fire 
alert for portions of central and coastal South Carolina. The
alert strongly advised postponing outdoor burning until conditions
improve.
