Warning Description: Coastal Flood Statement

Warning Date: 7:13 PM PST on November 7, 2009

WarningSum:...High Surf Advisory Is Cancelled...

Warning Message:...Above normal surf expected through Sunday...
The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has cancelled
the high surf advisory. 
Some of the swell energy from a large northwest swell will impact
the Ventura County coast resulting in above normal surf of 4 to 6
feet with local Max sets to 7 feet through Sunday. With breakers
expected to remain generally below 7 feet...the the high surf
advisory has been cancelled.
With the above normal surf...there is a high potential for strong
rip currents in the vicinity of The Breakers. This will make swimming
or surfing potentially dangerous.
