Bent Fork

Everyone
knows that the Bent Fork disables forks and/or tridents
used against you, but just how does it benefit you in
actual use?
By
itself, it's ok against some opponents but combined with
a stealing item, it can become even more helpful.
Remember that when an item is broken by the Fork, your
opponent CANNOT use it again for the remainder of the
battle. Once you get your 1-player opponent's strength
high enough, those little 69 damage (@ 700 boost) Attack
Fork attacks can add up
When
used by itself against:
Balthazar: breaks
his Attack Fork (see
below also)
Chiazilla: breaks Trident of Chiazilla
Koi Warrior: breaks Koi Battle Fork AND Trident of
Poseidon
Lava Ghoul: breaks Attack Fork
Pant Devil: breaks Attack Fork
Sabre-X: breaks Attack Fork (see below also)
Space Faerie:
breaks Attack Fork (see
below also)
The Brain Tree:
breaks Attack Fork
When
used then followed by a stealing item (Heavy Robe of
Thievery is preferred if your pet has the stats) against:
Balthazar: breaks
his Attack Fork, takes his Bent Fork
Commander Garoo: breaks Attack Fork, takes Tornado Ring (Meaning no more air defence AND
goodbye to two of his weapons!)
Edna the Witch:
breaks Attack Fork, takes Snow Flame (Goodbye to two of her weapons)
Grarrg: breaks
Attack Fork, takes Feather Tickler (Goodbye to two of his weapons)
Kasuki Lu: breaks
Trident of Poseidon, take his Life Giver Amulet (Free full heal...if he's used
it, though, you'll take his Ice Scimitar instead)
Ryshu the Nimmo:
breaks Trident of Poseidon, take Moon Staff (Goodbye to two of his weapons)
Sabre-X: If, after
using the Bent Fork, you wait to steal until he uses his
Downsize Power Plus (not sure why you'd want to
considering you'd rather take his DPP, but still...),
you'll take his either his Snowglobe Staff (assuming he
still has it) or his Million Degree Sword.
Space Faerie: If you so desire, you can take her Stone
Hourglass after breaking her Attack Fork but seeing as
it's a useless item, there's really no point to it.
