The 1000 Islands Tournament will be no more.

 

Eden and I are closing shop.  After over 25 years it is time.

 

On one hand (to quote Tevya) it took us a while to decide to give up a wonderful weekend with friends we have made over the years.

 

On the other hand it was an easy decision. Tournament attendance dropped over the last few years and the Pine Tree Point Resort is a tired lady.

 

Our working relationship was excellent and our fondness for each other and the 1000 Islands region kept us going.

 

We want to thank all the backgammon players who have been with us at Pine Tree for their  friendship, support and loyalty to the 1000 Islands Tournament.
