Lynx 2B and Thuneau Allocator Setup
You can configure XP so that *every* sound generated by the
computer will go through the crossover. Here is the way I did it.
I set the
default device in the "Sound and Audio" control panel applet to Lynx
Playback 5.

The Lynx card has a bunch of LStream devices that are
meant to expand IO with add-on cards, but you can place a jumper on the
card which allows all of the LStream devices to become internal
loopback devices. This is extremely useful for the Allocator setup. See the following URL for specific instructions on how to achieve this: http://www.lynxstudio.com/lstreamloopback.html
I did this and then re-routed all of the audio
going to Playback 5 to the Record 2 device through the Lynx
Mixer. The Allocator crossover picks up all of the audio on
Record 2, performs its crossover duties, and then sends the results out
to the Playback 1, 2 and 3 devices that are assinged to the physical
outputs going to the amps. Before I figured out the LStream
loopback jumper deal, I had to loopback through the digital output and
input to get the stuff to work. Since a picture can be worth ten
thousand poorly written words, see the following images for setup

If you put a shortcut to Allocator.exe in your Start-up folder it will start streaming with all of its
settings just as you left them, so all sounds will get sent through the
crossover (as long as you don't have Windows system sounds at start-up
and shut down).
The Lynx ASIO driver only allows one
application at a time to access the driver. Use
the kernel streaming output in Foobar, as shown below:
