Cody (Virginia) is a 3-4 year old Australian Shepherd that the Humane Society is
courtesy posting for a family who is moving and cannot keep him. He was
adopted from the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter when he was about 1 year
old and is very sweet and active. He is neutered, but will need his shots
updated and he also came from the shelter with his tail docked. He is
currently living with an older beagle.

Scooter (New Jersey) is a housebroken, spoiled 6 year old Aussie
mix that's owner can no longer care for him. She is 90 years old and loves
this boy. Her son, who is 70, is trying to help her take care of him but she
realizes that he needs a place where he will get more than she is physically
able to give him. We are so full right now with dogs of his size and we just
can't take him. The owner’s friend, who sent me the information on him, is a
friend of mine and has met Scooter. She said he is a great dog. Very calm but
still likes to play. They have had him since he was a year old. I fear what
might happen to him though if we can't find help.
