Don reported that the grant for the Pride center is proceeding. Brian will put it together and submit it.
Election results are on the website. We discussed a fundraiser for: State Rep. Bob Hagan, State Rep. Tom Letson, O'Neil for US Rep., and Presidential Candidate. Working on persons to volunteer to host the fundraiser. We need to establish a list of good places, especially in the outer townships, to place signs for candidates.
ENDA signatures went well. Don is typing them onto a spreadsheet. Equality Ohio had several resignations handling this area.
Don is working on a trip to visit sites associated with the gay President ( Buchannon ) in eastern PA.
We will work together at the next meeting to send out mailings for membership.
The group discussed ways we could gather info on laws desired by the LGBT community. A survey was discussed. Equality Ohio has info.
PFLAG will host statewide meeting on April 19. Volunteers needed.
PACT will hold midwest regional meeting in May.
Pride movie night has been a success. It will be on March 15 at Brian's home.
Aids Taskforce will hold the annual vigil in Warren on May 18.

Minutes for 9/7/2006
1. James Winnett from the Ohio Democratic Party and Kelly Anthony from Human Rights Campaign were introduced.
2. Don R. discussed the need for a treasurer.
3. Rick C. agreed to act as Secretary.
4. Membership Report: Bob H. reported that he had sent emails about the Club which included a request the email be forwarded to friends. Posters about the Club were placed in bars. He suggested we make a small card to hand out to people introducing the Club.. Chuck M. noted that the church had to stay away from politics. James Winnett said he could send out a notice of our Club to democrats in the area from the State. Bob H. contacted someone at KSU Trumbull branch.
5. Political Action: Pete P. was not present. Don R. reported that the 411 owner Kenny had agreed to have a registration table at the bar. Rick Barga, from the Ohio Democratic Party, reported that we can collect the cards and turn them in ourselves.
6. Don R. reported that the rally before the Strickland debate was combative.
7. James Winnett reported that the statewide GLBT caucus meeting on Sept. 16 had been cancelled.
8. Lyndsey Hughes, Mahoning County Democratic Party Executive Director, said we could do some phone calling for our meeting on November 2.
9. Don R. Suggested that we hold one fundraising party. James Winnett said he would handle it through the Strickland and Brown campaigns. They will provide DVD’s about the campaigns. We are looking for a place to hold it. Our goal is to raise $500.
10. Don R. requested that we find someone who is not using their free web space to host our website.
11. John V. agreed to organize some club social activities.
12. The members agreed to include Columbiana County in our area of activity.

Minutes for 8/21/06
1. John V. mentioned the possible existence of a Tri-County Stonewall. Don had investigated but will check again. Alan Ratliff did not know of any other group.
2. Bob H. moved the adoption of the Constitution. Seconded by Pete P. Passed unanimously.
3. Bob H. moved the nomination of Don Rowinsky as Club Chairman. John V. seconded. Passed unanimously. We will wait until a later meeting to choose the rest of the officers.
4. The Club decided to hold off on incorporation to find the legalities involved with incorporation.
5. Bob H. was appointed chairman of the membership committee. Suggestions included: Posters in bars. Notice in GPC. Contact YSU group.
6. Pete P. was appointed chairman of the political action committee. Suggestions included: Registration table at bars. Helping man the Democratic Party headquarters in Mahoning and Trumbull once a month. Promote the political donations to Strickland through the $50 Ohio Tax Credit program.
7. John V. moved we not join national Stonewall for a year. Rick C. seconded. Passed unanimously.
8. Dues were set at $35 regular. $20 student. $50 supporting. We will not discount for not joining National Stonewall Democrats. Dues will be due in January. They will be pro-rated based on the date the member joins.
9. John V. suggested we wait on determining the banking account until we have a treasurer.
10. The group decided to meet the first Thursday of the Month. We will try to meet at Mahoning Dem. Headquarters.
11. Alan Ratliff from the Ohio Democratic Party announced an LGBT Caucus kickoff at the Ohio Democratic Convention in Parma on Sept. 16.
