This Edge allows the character to buy the Cinematic Brawling concentration for his Fightin' Aptitude.
A few cowpokes think rifles are pistols. This Edge reduces the normal -4 for using a rifle one handed to only a -1.
This Edge replaces the standard Rifle Spin rule and requirements.
Not everyone can spin cock a rifle, to do so one requires the character to buy this edge. In addition its only practical for tall characters, as a result the Brawny edge is also a requirement. Rifle Spin is limited to weapons with a barrel length of 20" or less, and a loop level must be installed by a gunsmith at a cost of $5.
With this Edge, a character may cock the weapon with the expenditure of an action card using only one hand. If he makes a Onerous (7) Quick Draw - Rifles roll, you may cock and fire in a single action.
As noted in the book, the Rifle Spin "looks pretty damn manly"- it provides a +2 Overawe bonus.
The effects of this edge is changed to match the modifications made to Hexslingin'. Requirements for buying the edge remain as in the official rules.
It allows the player to draw an additional Fate Chip at the beginning of each session. This chip may not be a legend chip (return it to the pot and draw again) and it can only be spent on the casting of a hex- either the casting itself, avoiding backlash, or paying for the higher hands.
If this chip is not spent by the end of the session, it is returned to the pot.
This edge is not an automatically "get out of all surprise" card. If the Cognition roll is failed, the character gets his special one Action card only if one of the follow conditions are meant:
1. An obvious attack is made. Example: a rifle shot, arrow hit, a companion (or himself) is visibility struck, etc.
2. Any other member of his posse or nearby NPC succeeds in their Cognition check.
