Lead |
The
only bullet generally in use before the 20th century, lead is softer with
the result that penetration is reduced compared to standard FMJ ammo. Seen
today mostly in pure target shooting roles. |

Hollow/Soft Point bullets include any of a large number of designs
intended to expand upon impact increasing the severity of the wound and transferring
more energy to the target. Such advantages are offset by
significantly reduced armor penetration |

A
common modern military assault rifle cartridge. These rounds are designed
such that they tumble and fragment upon striking a person increasing the
severity of the wound significantly. This is best suited to small high
velocity (around 3000 fps) bullets. Combined with a steel insert for
piercing armor, the result is an effective anti-personal round within its
limits. The last point is represented by the use of a Activation roll listed with each round under Usability. Failure indicates that the DC and Stun Modifiers don't apply to that attack.

Basically
APDS for small arms, these contain a smaller & extremely hard/dense
bullet fired inside a drop away sabot. The SLAP round has excellent
penetrating ability, however the smaller diameter penetrator produces
smaller wounds. |

Developed
by FN, this 5.7x28mm round (the Five seveN) was intended to combine the
features of armor piercing ammunition with the wounding potential of the
5.56x45mm NATO round. The effect may not be dependable (much like the Semi-AP Fragmenting ammo above). To simulate this the ammo has an Activation Roll of an 11-, failure indicates that the DC and Stun Modifiers don't apply to that attack.
