Gestures

Being in melee combat is considered confining per this limit and thus any ability requiring Gestures may not be used.

Leaving melee combat will of course restore the character to normal ability. At the option of the GM, the character may still attempt to use a gesture limited ability while in melee combat, this requires a successful DEX roll and takes 1/2 DCV modifier vs. melee attacks.
