Attendance at this year's tournament was up almost 15%.  A total of 67 players came, representing 17 states and Mexico.  This was our 3rd consecutive year of double digit attendance growth.  One of the highlights of the weekend was Paul Weaver's lecture on Tricky Checker Plays on the Second Roll of the Game .  Over 50 players turned out for the Saturday morning presentation.  Our new charity side event -- Skunk Dice -- was also popular.  We raised $200 for North Shore Hospice of Skokie, IL, in memory of John Brussel.

We would like to thank Bill Davis, Carol Joy Cole, Dave Cardwell, and Paul Weaver for serving as the appeals committee.  And, of course, a big thank you goes to all the players.  We truly enjoyed having each of you as our guest.  You are the ones most responsible for the success of the 4th Carolina Invitational!
