I was the first briard in the family. My full name was Mon Jovis Calvados De Sereno but I went by Calva for short. I was the first in the use of French liquor based names for the briards in our family. When I arrived home I was greeted by a big Old English female, Becky, who was great and a Himalayan cat, Napolean, whose attitude towards me and the rest of the family matched his name, although he did get more friendly as he got older. I was the best mannered of the briards in this family, in my humble opinion, and even competed once in a local beginners obedience match and didn't embarass myself or Connie too badly, although I certainly did not win. When Becky died my family brought home Kir and she was a lot of fun for me. Sadly Kir and I only had a year together before I died suddenly.
