Hi my full name is Creme de Cassis. Well actually my registered name is "Bigtrees Best of my Love" but I would never answer to that name. I was born in December in snowy Rochester NY. In Feb 2007 I left the snow and cold behind and moved to sunny warm Austin TX.
I am a fun loving girl whose biggest joys are sleeping on the bed, walks, car rides and playing with my family. I tried herding but I could never really figure out what to do with those silly sheep - guess I am more of a city girl. I think sheep should be slept on - note the picture below.
I am mostly black but I am getting more gray as I get older - I take after my grandfather Boomer. I have an amazing amount of energy, which is starting to get a bit under control now that I have almost reached the "mature" age of 4, but I will always be a puppy at heart. I have gotten great training from Tara Stermer, Training by Tara, which I usually remember unless I get excited at which point I forget everything and leap with joy especially when I see my family and friends. I hope someday to get my canine good citizen but I still have a ways to go.
My big brother Remy was a great teacher and playmate sadly he is gone now and I really miss him. I now have a new little brother, Marty, who I was not so sure about at first (for about 3 days) but now have decided that he is a lot of fun. For now I am able to boss him around but judging by the size of his paws I am worried he will be bigger than me - so I better teach him the rules while he is smaller than me.
