A bit about me




Home: Born in Palmyra New York (1961). Grew up in Red Hook New York, adjacent to Bard College. I moved back to Red Hook New York in July 2000.

Formal education: RPI (Electrical Engineering), University of Massachusetts at Amherst (Electrical Engineering, Human Factors, and Operations Research/Mathematical Modeling)

Job: IBM.  Designer and Programmer for the 'Connectivity Solutions' group.  Specialty skills include: Simulation, C, C++, object-oriented programming, Java, End-User-Interface design/development, problem analysis and solutions, endpoint-to-endpoint 'open' communications, messing with device drivers and support for high speed network adapters, and a bunch of other little things.

Interests: Writing, learning, people, motorcycles (on and off road), theater/acting/lighting, hiking/outdoors, organic/hemp clothing, literature, playing basketball, playing Frisbee, travel, things Hispanic/Latin, sketching (I love the artwork of Frank Frazetta, he is a modern master), reading (especially the work of: Philip K. Dick, Joe R. Lansdale, Neil Gaiman, Anais Nin, Robert Heinlein, H.P. Lovecraft, Willy Shakespeare, and all of Ian Fleming's "James Bond" books), making noise on my guitar, and hanging out in the Hudson Valley (especially Woodstock, Rhinebeck, Rhinecliff, and Tivoli) with good friends.
