Big Owl Turns 65
Yeah, it had to happen.
On October 10, 1965, Big Owl turned 65.
Big Owl now has a Medicare card.
Big Owl's life is practically over.
Soon he will sit down in a rocking chair
with an afghan over his knees.
Before the end, however,
his family and friends gave him
a nice birthday party.
Chris and Carrie were the first to arrive.
Carrie was especially excited.
Chris and Carrie began to eat.
Big Owl likes to see people enjoy eating.
Kathie is a good cook.
Susan and Betsy arrived next.
They kind of gravitated toward the food.
Bill and Donna arrived next.
They also got some food.
This is Bill and Donna eating.
Kathie likes to see people enjoy eating.
Annie called to wish Big Owl "happy birthday."
Bill talked to her.
Annie was probably eating stuff in Orlando.
Big Owl temporarily loses control
when he gets first glimpse of his birthday cake.
Each candle represented 22 years of Big Owl's life.
There's actually an extra year in there somewhere, I guess.
Big Owl enjoys presents from all the guests.
Bill gave Big Owl DVDs of the movie "Madison"
and of Bob Dylan.
Big Owl used to be skinny like Bob Dylan.
The coolest present Big Owl received was a pair of cool shades.
Although he is 65, Big Owl can still look cool.
And with shades on, no one can recognize Big Owl.
See? You can't tell, but this is Big Owl in disguise.
See again? You can't tell, but this is Bill in disguise.
Look! It's Chris in disguise!
You couldn't tell, could you?
Big Owl's coolest present was his brand-new iPod nano.
It is the coolest iPod ever made.
Even though he turned 65,
Big Owl is still cool.
