Kathie Does Orlando
(Part Three)

After visiting Disney World,
Kathie and Annie returned to the hotel suite.
They had to get ready to visit Downtown Disney, of course.

Back at the hotel, Annie decided to do a handstand.
Big Owl wondered why, but he didn't say anything.

At Downtown Disney, Kathie found a sculpture of Stephen King's "lawnmower man,"
made entirely of Legos.

Big Owl found a sea serpent or something, also made entirely of Legos.
Annie tried to make it look like the sea serpent was eating Big Owl.
Big Owl is not afraid, however.

For lunch, Annie took Kathie to the Rainforest Café.
Big Owl was there, too.

Big Owl was not afraid of the Lego monsters,
but he was a little worried about the animals in this picture.

Kathie found a big Tinkertoy sculpture,
just like when she was little.

Annie's birthday is coming up soon, so she put on a Disney birthday hat.

Back at the hotel suite, Big Owl also felt the need
to put something on his head.

The next day, Kathie and Big Owl visited City Walk at Universal.
That's them, there, in front of the Universal Globe.

Annie found a gigantic poster of a swimmer doing the butterfly.
Annie used to do the butterfly, too.  She still does.

Kathie found a gigantic poster of the new "Mummy" ride.
She thinks it's about being a mother,
but Big Owl thinks it's about some ancient Egyptian curse and stuff.

It looks like Kathie is poking some man in the back,
but actually she's pointing out good old Woody Woodpecker,
just like in the olden days.

Big Owl is acting superior, because he was right about the Mummy.

Kathie decided to have one last fling at surfing, before coming back to Kentucky.

Back in Kentucky, Christopher met Kathie at the airport,
and everyone went to Bella Notte for dinner.
Vacation is over, but it was good.
Kathie and Big Owl had a good time,
and wished you were there.
