Now that Anesti is back in town after an absence of a
mere 30 years,
Big Owl thought it would be a great idea to have a reunion
between Anesti and Bill.
Before Anesti left EKU, back in the olden days, he spent
a lot of time with Bill.
He even gave Bill a soccer ball on the day he left.
Bill was younger, but he remembers.
So does Anesti.
Anyway, Big Owl drove Anesti up to Madison,
so Anesti and Bill could have a big, fat, hairy reunion.
On the way to Madison, Big Owl stopped in Charlestown,
to show Anesti where he grew up (Big Owl, not Anesti).
This is Big Owl standing in front of the Charlestown Methodist Church.
Big Owl used to go there, but they had a different minister then.
When we got to Bill's house, Big Owl and Bill decided to have some lunch.
Anesti didn't have any, but he drank a diet coke.
Anesti is on a diet, but he was happy to see Bill.
And Bill was happy to see him.
When Christopher showed up to join the big, fat, hairy reunion, it was
even better.
Notice how happy Anesti, Bill, and Christopher are.
Big Owl was happy, too.
Bill showed Anesti all around the Hanover College campus.
They visited the "outdoor classroom."
Anesti warned Bill of the dangers of teaching outdoors.
Birds can crap on your head, and stuff.
Big Owl also warned Bill of the dangers of teaching outdoors.
Especially if there are really BIG birds around.
On the other hand, Big Owl doesn't think that size is all that important.
The view of the Ohio River from the Hanover campus is breathtaking.
Just like in "Some Came Running."
Big Owl was so taken with the spirit of learning and knowledge that
he finds at Hanover,
that he decided to demonstrate Leonardo da Vinci's famous "Vitruvian
Man" position.
Unfortunately, Big Owl is not particularly Vitruvian.
