SCOR CCC is a club whose members promote healthier living by riding their bicycle. Originally founded in 1974 to help rehabilitating cardiac patients,
SCOR CCC has expanded to include anyone who wants to ride for health and fun.

Our members are active people with an interest in staying healthy and happy. We have weekly scheduled rides for all skill levels, and we schedule several weekend ‘getaways’ and social events each year.  Check out our events calendar.

For more than 25 years SCOR has put on the Solvang Century & Half Century, a 50 and 100-mile bike ride, and the Solvang Prelude, a 25, 50, and 65-mile ride, through the countryside and wine country of Solvang and the Santa Inez Valley in Northern California. These are among California’s most popular rides that, combined, attract 6,000 riders annually.

Proceeds from Solvang events are used to sponsor children with heart related problems to three summer camps; Camp Bon Couer in Louisiana, Camp Del Corazon on Catalina Island, and Camp Taylor in Northern California. SCOR CCC also contributes to other charities, including the Southern California Tour de Cure and the Variety Club.
