He is widely considered to be one of the more talented and popular champions in North American wrestling history, and is particularly revered in his home country of Canada. Of course, Bret Hart is best known for his phenomenally successful run in the WWF, where he enjoyed his first taste of success as a member of the Hart Foundation along with Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart and manager Jimmy "The Mouth of the South" Hart. After becoming a multi-time WWF Tag Team Champion, Hart moved into the singles division, where he would truly make his mark as a great technical wrestler capable of delivering the goods night in and night out. He was dubbed "The Excellence of Execution" by announcer Gorilla Monsoon, and own self-styled catchphrase became "the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be." A presumptous claim to be sure, but in the world of professional wrestling, unbreakable confidence with the ability to back it up in the ring is usually a surefire recipe for success, as was the case with Bret Hart. Throughout the 90's, Hart was a constant contender for the WWF Heavyweight Championship, and indeed ended up holding that title five times, having several now-classic matches along the way. Many of those matches would be against "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, who as it turned out was no friend of Hart's inside or outside of the wrestling business. The two exchanged bitter barbs back and forth -- many times in front of the camera and completely unscripted -- which only served to further the animosity between the two. I could dedicate paragraph after paragraph to the lengthy career of Bret Hart, but since this is a gmae guide and not a biography, I will instead refer to you his autobiography, "Hitman: My Real Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling" if you want the whole lowdown (from Bret's own unique perspective of course). ======================================== ==SECTION 2: SKILL AND PARAMETER STATS== ======================================== SKILL ----- Real Name......................Bret Hart FPR Name......................._________ Organization......................Legend FPR Organization.....................AWG FPR Group.........................Legend Size..............................Medium Class..............................Heavy Height............................___ cm Weight............................___ kg Gender..............................Male Birthdate.....................__/__/____ Country...........................Canada Rank..................................._ Charisma..............................._ Stance..........................________ Fight Style.....................________ Return..........................________ Critical........................Finisher Special.......................... of Execution is indeed excellent in Fire Pro Returns. And while Bret Hart's offensive parameters are merely above-average (save the "9" Technical rating, which is truly an asset), he is absolutely stellar in most defensive categories, racking up an impressive 86 points worth of defensive. Add to this high spirit, neck and back endurance and you've got a wrestler who is going to be in it for the long haul. STRIKES GRAPPLES ====================== ==SECTION 5: CLOSING== ====================== In closing, I would like to thank Jason Blackhart for statistical information and Dave Fairbairn for moveset clarification.
