Day 2
I don't know what was wrong with the computer tide
program we used but it was far from slack water at
Hell Gate. We were making perhaps half a knot at our
full speed of 6.3 in the narrowest part, much to the
frustration of the powerboats behind us. Fortunately,
the current was against us making the narrow channels
much less difficult to navigate. A fantastic and
beautiful inland passage. Don't miss it!
