GIBEON

THE 1ST SPHERE OF MY COLLECTION

PURCHASED MAY TH, 2006

In May of 2006 I discovered that you could buy meteorites, I always figured they were off limits to "regular" people. I went straight to eBay and noticed most people sold end cuts, slices and whole specimens but none of those really appealed to me. I found an auction for a Gibeon egg and liked the look of it but wished it had been a sphere. A friend recommended that I contact Ron at "The Universe Collection". He had an assortment of Gibeon and NWA 869 spheres. I purchased 1 of each in the 50mm range and when I received them I was hooked. I decided that I was going to collect spheres exclusively and if possible they would be in the 50mm range, however, this proved to be a very difficult task.
