Muenchy's 2006 Middle Handicapper Fall Invitational

[press release]
APPLETON, WI -- October 9th, 2006 - Another year of Muenchy's Fall Invitational league has wrapped up. Congratulations to Ken Barr for winning this year's league. Ken showed solid play in the grueling 5 week schedule by taking a total of 16 points in the modified Stableford points format. He takes home the "Muenchy Trophy" which now has 2 interesting modifications made to it by Milhaupt and Colon who tied the '05 season. The trophy now has a broken club which is "repaired" and has his Head in a place where the sun don't shine. The BTWB's can only wonder what the condition of this masterpiece will be in come next season.

Welcome to Dan's Fall League. We will play a number of different courses in our 4 week schedule. This year we will play a modified Stableford Scoring System. See below for the table showing the points awarded for each Par, Birdie, Bogie, etc. Since we're all middle handicappers, our zero line is a Bogey. Points will accumulate throughout the season. The goal is to end up with the most points.

Any Guys from BTWB's are invited to play!! If you are a BTWB's player and want to participate in the fall league, give Dan a call!

*TeeTimes are 4:15, 4:22, 4:29. Show up and be checked in. Pairings at 4:00

Cancelled due to the Rain/Cold.

09/18/06 (Chaska)

We had the entire course to ourselves due to the cool weather with 57.5 °F and W 21.9 MPH/33.4 Gusts. The pairings were Wittig(46)/Woods(45)/Schaefer(47)/Colon(41) and Muenchow(42)/Milhaupt(39)/Evers(44)/Barr(43). Only one helicoptor landing tonight, this week, directed in by Troy. This week's cheeks/ears award for most 3 putts was taken by Bret. We headed to Route 15 for some food and laughs.

09/25/05 (Royal St. Patrick's)

A very sunny but windy night with 66.2 °F and W 17.3 MPH/13.4 Gusts. The pairings were Muenchow(50x)/Milhaupt(48)/Schaefer(43)/Barr(41) and Wittig(51)/Woods(42)/Halley(50)/Colon(43). The cheeks/ears award goes to the greenskeeper who thought of the pin placement on #9. We all expected to see a windmill on the green. Most of us headed to The 5th Quarter for some food and beverages.

10/02/06 (Reid Golf Course)

Cancelled due to the Rain/Hail Warning.

10/09/06 (Reid Golf Course)

Andy's 2nd shot on #9 ended up stuck up in a pine tree. Colon/Milhaupt/Barr/Wittig/Woods headed to The Stone Toad for food and beers.
