This week saw quite an improvement in the scores, from nearly everybody. Congrats to Nate Dosch for the low score this week, a fine 36. Quite a few birdies were also carded this week, perhaps due to the rain we had the last two days, as we were able to shoot for the pin. One still must make the putt, however, and it appears that many did. You will note that there were no proxies this week. For once, I didn't forget to put the cards out, but rather, this is a money saving decision, to pad our account little by little, as we have 4 fewer players than budgeted for this season. ( An earlier notice was posted on this, for those that may have missed it, but the underlying reason to skip proxies, or award sleeves of balls instead of cash from time to time, was so I didn't have to come to the membership for a few extra dollars, after everyone had paid their dues ) Proxies will return again, next week. Thanks again to those of you who e mailed me, knowing that subs would be playing for you, I appreciate that. Please don't forget to have subs who have not played yet, to enter their phone number(s) and an e mail address on the scorecard, so I can keep my address book and sub list updated.
