HISTORY: James has been involved in promoting and putting on trials events since 1969. He has been and is an active member of Trail Riders of Houston, South Texas Trials Association (STTA), Houston Area Trials Team (HATT) and South Central Association of Historic Trials Riders (SCAHTR) in addition to being an AMA and AHRMA member.

CURRENTLY: President of STTA, riding in the Intermediate class (or 2 line) in vintage events and in the Veterans class (or Amateur line) in modern events.
