SCAHTR is a Vintage only Observed Trials organization based in North Texas. It was started as an alternative for Vintage trials riders who want to compete in Observed Trials on Vintage Friendly terrain rather than strictly in modern events. (We still like competing with the new "boomerang" bikes but are just tired of whuppin them all the time!)

We began competition in the fall of 2001. The schedule to-date has been set up to coexist with other scheduled trials events whenever possible.

There are 4 classes: Rookie, Novice, Intermediate and Expert. (This was done to coincide with AHRMA classes.)

The definition of Vintage Motorcycle for Observed Trials within SCAHTR is dual shock or rigid frame bikes. These bikes must be in good working order with no parts falling off or oil leaking. Also they must not be excessively noisy. (We don’t want anyone leaving parts or oil slicks in sections. Unless, of course, the parts were knocked off by a tree or rock that attacked their bike. And no excessive noise as we don’t want to scare off dinner, I mean any animals.)

Whenever we host AHRMA National Trials Events then AHRMA rules will apply.
