Chemometrics - Avoiding pitfalls
- Don't expect something for/from nothing
- Chemometric techniques aren't magical, surefire methods.
- The techniques can't be used as "black boxes".
- You can't extract useful information from bad data.
- Keep your eyes and mind open.
- Know your subject as well as is possible.
- Monitor your characterized systems for changes.
- Don't become too fond of any one technique.
