Catbar's origins
"CATBAR" is a semi-ficticious corporation that Catherine & I created. It actually started
as a nickname we used for NTN Trivia on Genie, but we realized that it was novel enough
to use for other things. Mostly, we've used it as the company name for software
registrations, so we could track what mailing lists we were put on. Sometimes we were
"Catbar Industries". Another time, we were "The CATBAR Corporation". Catbar Conglomerates.
Catbar, Inc. You get the idea. Either uppercase or mixed case is acceptable; this
includes "CatBAR".
Where does it come from? Catherine is sometimes called "Cat" for short. My initials are "BAR".
