Among the Civil War Pension Records for James CORCORAN & Margaret (RONAN) CORCORAN was a copy of an 'Abstract of Baptism Record' from St. Patrick's Cathedral in Rochester, NY (Monroe County).  This early church record was written in Latin and the handwriting is hard to decipher.  Note that although James CORCORAN & Margaret (RONAN) CORCORAN had 6 children, this abstract only lists 4.  Their first child (John Thomas) died in 1884 and was deceased when this record was submitted with a civil war pension  application in 1885.  Their last born child (William H.) was apparently born after they came from Rochester to Auburn, NY and not baptised in this church.
