Abstract of Marriage Record
James CORCORAN & Margaret RONAN - October 22, 1868

Among the Civil War Pension Records for James CORCORAN & Margaret (RONAN) CORCORAN was a copy of an 'Abstract of Marriage Record' from St. Patrick's Cathedral in Rochester, NY (Monroe County).  This early church record was written in Latin and the handwriting is hard to decipher.  The record appears to say:

Oct. 22, 1868. James, son of John Corcoran and Mary Tracey married Margaret, daughter of John Ronan.
Witnesses: William Tracey and Margaret O'Brien.
