GOD'S PEOPLE
Deuteronomy 7:6-10
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, ...
9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.
ENCOURAGEMENT
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

You might have already heard the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego but let's look at it in a different light.
Here's what happened:
Nebuchadnezzar made a huge statue image of gold.
All people, nations and languages were told to worship the statue image when they heard the sound of music. If a person did not worship the image they were cast into a burning fiery furnace.
A few Jewish people, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego believed and worshipped the one true God so they decided not to worship the image.
Nebuchadnezzar got really mad when he heard this and told Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego that if they did not worship the image they would be cast into the fiery furnace.
The three Jews told King Nebuchadnezzar that if God willed, then He would deliver them from the burning fiery furnace and out of King Nebuchadnezzar's hand. (3:17)
This made King Nebuchadnezzar REALLY mad so he said to heat the fiery furnace seven times hotter and he ordered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to be bound and tossed into the fiery furnace. The fire was so hot it killed the people that tossed them in.
As soon as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego was tossed into the fire, King Nebuchadnezzar looked into the furnace and saw four men instead of three. All were walking around, not hurt and the fourth looked like the Son of God.
King Nebuchadnezzar came near to the furnace and told Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to come out of the fire. The three were not hurt. The fire did NOT have any power over the three that refused to worship the image.
God was with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and protected them from the fiery furnace when they refused to worship the image.
He will also be with you and protect you from the ETERNAL lake of fire if you do not worship the image the anti-Christ creates.
All you have to do is trust in Him and refuse to worship the image of the antichrist.
Give your life to Jesus and be saved from the lake of fire.

This is the story of Daniel in the lions den.
Here's what happened:
Darius was king of Babylon. He liked Daniel and he made him to rule over the whole realm of the kingdom. The other presidents and princes were jealous and wanted to find some fault in Daniel but they couldn't find anything wrong with Daniel.
The presidents and princes went to the king and ask him to create a decree that said if anyone asks a petition of any God or man except asking it of Darius, then that person should be thrown into the lions den.
King Darius did create the decree. The princes and presidents found Daniel in his room praying and petitioning God in prayer. This went against the decree. The princes and presidents were happy they had caught Daniel doing something wrong.
So they went and told the king they found Daniel petitioning his God. The king was sorry that he had created the decree because he liked Daniel.
But the king ordered that Daniel be thrown in the lions den. The king didn't sleep that night but was fasting worrying about Daniel.
Early the next morning he went to the lions den and called out desperately for Daniel, asking if Daniel's God had protected him.
Daniel answered and said "O king, live for ever."
Daniel said, "My God hath shut the lion's mouths, that they have not hurt me:"
God was with Daniel in the lions den and protected him from the lions. God will be with you through the hard times in life, even the tribulation.
Just pray and ask Him into your life and then daily ask Him to protect you.
Trust in the Lord
1My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
2For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
3Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Psalm 147:2-7 (King James Version)
2The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
3He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
4He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
5Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
6The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
7Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
