The Tribulation Beast - Government section
The future antichrist and false prophet will deceive the world into believing a lie by means of a future one world government-religious organization. The Bible calls this evil organization that will appear during the future seven year tribulation a "Beast".
The Bible mentions different sections of the "Beast" in various stages of development in Daniel and in Revelation.
This paper will talk about the governmental and political section of this future Beast.
Turn to Daniel chapter 7. Daniel has a vision in which he sees a total of four beasts. We're going to discuss here the fourth beast that Daniel sees. This is the "dreadful and terrible" Beast organization that will be ruled by the antichrist and false prophet.
Daniel 7:7 "After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. "
This dreadful and terrible Beast organization, different from the other beasts, has ten horns which are interpreted in the Bible as ten KINGS. (Dan. 7:24) This ONE beast organization has ten kings that will start out ruling the world with the antichrist and eventually the false prophet.
The antichrist is mentioned as a horn also, a little horn. In Daniel 7:8 it says while Daniel was considering the ten horns, another little horn appears. This seems to indicate that the ten kings are in their positions when the little horn or antichrist appears. The antichrist, having the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things, then uproots three of the first ten horns.
Dan 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
The United Nations Security Council
The United Nations Security Council is NOW split into ten global representations that rule the world through the United Nations charter.
The United Nations website states: "Under the Charter, all Members of the United Nations agree to accept and carry out the decisions of the Security Council. "
These ten global representations are CURRENTLY making decisions that every nation in the world, except two, must abide by.
The world power represented by the United Nations Security Council is a strong indicator that this may be the beginning of the one world governmental-religious organization known in the Bible as the Beast.
Every country in the world except Taiwan and the Vatican/ Holy See is a member of the United Nations. Therefore, they are the only two countries not under the United Nations charter and power of the UN Security Council.
Here are the current ten representations of the Security Council:
Permanent representation: China, France, Russia, USA, UK
Non Permanent representation: Africa, Asia, Latin America and Caribbean, W Europe, E Europe
The Permanent members of the UN Security Council have veto power and are able to veto any vote that comes up. These positions are held every year and are not rotated with any other country. They are permanent positions.
Non Permanent member countries rotate positions within their regional representation every two years. The region stays constant each year but the individual country within the region will change. (1)Africa has three seat representations. (2)Asia has two seats, (3)Latin America and Caribbean has two seats, (4)W Europe has two seats and (5)E Europe has one seat.
These 5 Non Permanent regional positions do not have veto power so their influence is not as strong, except as a part of the whole UN Security Council.
The Beast destroys "by peace"
The United Nations was created to uphold global peace. The United Nations charter states it's purpose is:
"...to practice tolerance and live together in peace with one another as good neighbours, and to unite our strength to maintain international peace and security..."

Daniel 8:25 tells us that the antichrist and false prophet will "by peace" destroy many.
Daniel 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
King Nebuchadnezzar's Dream
King Nebuchadnezzar has a dream about an great image in Daniel 2. This image had ten toes that are part of clay and part of iron. In Daniel 2:41 it says this "kingdom" shall be "divided". The kingdom will have the strength of the iron but will still be mixed with clay, which is not as strong.
I think the ten toes also represent the UN Security Council. The UN Security Council will not be totally strong because all ten representations do not have veto power. The five non permanent representations are only as strong as the permanent representations.
Daniel 2:33, 41-42
33His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
41And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
42And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
Satan uses his demons to possess the ten kings and the beast sometime during the tribulation
Daniel 2:43 tells us that the ten toes or KINGS mingle themselves with the seed of men. This may mean that the ten KINGS will be possessed by demons sometime during the tribulation and will possibly no longer be the "seed of men" themselves. The ten kings will not agree with each other because it seems they will be each striving to gain power with the antichrist and/or false prophet themselves.
Daniel 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
Take a look at Revelation 17:12-14
12And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
The ten kings are one mind with the beast and give their power and strength to the Beast.
Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Who/what is the Beast? According to Revelation 17:8 the Beast is completely taken over by Satan. The Beast ascends out of the bottomless pit. Satan is the only one that ascends out of the bottomless pit. It sounds like at some point during the seven year tribulation the Beast along with the ten kings become controlled by Satan and his demons.
Notice in Revelation 17:14 that these ten kings possessed by Satan make war with the Lamb of God, Christ Jesus our Lord.
At the end of the seven year tribulation The King of Kings, our Lord Jesus Christ overcomes and defeats the Beast.
Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
