EARLY HISTORY OF THE O'DRISCOLLS:

The O'Driscolls have inhabited the southern coast of County Cork, Ireland for centuries. For a detailed history of the early O'Driscoll clan, visit the O'Driscoll Clan Home Page. There is also an interesting chapter on O'Driscoll history in the book The History of West Cork and the Diocese of Ross published in 1949 in Skibbereen, and available on microfilm from the LDS church.

JOHN AND JULIA O' DRISCOLL

John O'DRISCOLL of Upper Lisheen, Aughadown, on Roaring Water Bay in West Cork, married Julia HARRINGTON some time in the 1850s after the Great Famine. They had at least two children:
