Rules of the Game
for #50+Chat_Trivia
In an effort to make #50+Chat_Trivia a fun family game channel that can be enjoyed by everyone, you are asked to keep the following rules in mind when playing the game.
#50+Chat_Trivia Player Rules:
PROFANITY on #50+Chat_Trivia is not allowed in any form at any time.
FLOODING can lag the bot and hinder play. Flooding is intentionally repeating a line or multiple lines to the channel, or abusing the bot's commands.
COLORS may be used on #50+Chat_Trivia. Please keep them to one line as much as possible, and never exceeding six lines.
BEHAVIOR in the channel should be responsible and pleasant. Rudeness, vulgarity and flaming are not allowed.
SPORTSMANSHIP is important. Experienced players should show courtesy to new players. Cheering for your team or anyone else is encouraged.
IDLING in the channel is not allowed. Either play the game or leave the channel. Should you have to leave the channel for coffee or a potty break, just let someone know you will be BRB (be right back) or change your nick to Nick-afk.
CHEATING is a bannable offense.
OPS are chosen by vote, by the channel owner and the current Ops. Please comply with any reasonable request made of you by a channel operator.
KICKING AND/OR BANNING can result if these rules are broken. Kicking and banning are done at the discretion and judgment of the channel operators and owner.
#50+Chat_Trivia Ops' Rules
Opping your friends isn't allowed. Only registered #50+Chat_Trivia Ops are permitted to be opped. Only the channel owner has the ability to set the parameters and register a new Op.
If a current Channel Op enters the channel and CStar does not Op them, you may give them Ops. They earned it - help them out.
If you would like to recommend that someone be set as an Op, contact the channel owner and a vote will be held.
Unbanning other Ops' bans, or any bot bans, without permission is not allowed.
You may only unban your own bans.
All bans made by Chat_Triv or CStar are at least 24 hour bans and cannot be removed by Ops. If someone has been banned in error, please contact the channel owner.
Kicking and banning for personal reasons is not permitted.
Just because you don't like a person doesn't give you the right to kick that person.
Please keep personal differences off the channel.
You may set the topic but please do not change any other channel modes or the channel limit.
The exception is making the channel +m for bot lag.
Remember that as a Chat_Trivia Op you're setting an example of good behavior for the channel.
Give the new players or slower players a chance! Don't "hog" the game. We want them to come back and enjoy their stay in our channel.
Any problems in the channel should be reported to "Summermoon", the channel founder/owner.
