Hopkins of the F.B.I.
Released: 2000
Demo Review: When you are warned at the beginning of this demo that it contains graphic violence, believe it. In short cut scenes you have the opportunity to see a man's eyeballs pop out as he is shot and to see a woman having her throat cut, the blood spilling out in big red drops. It's the kind of gross-out cartoon you'd expect to be drawn by a 15-year-old, which for all I know is the case. It's creepy. None of the puzzles impressed me, the interface is very cumbersome.
Outside of that this is your basic inventory-based game. There wasn't anything interesting in the demo. The inventory is annoying, the graphics are ordinary, and the whole thing looks a bit amateurish. Don't bother unless you want to see poorly drawn naked female corpses and other signs of emotional retardation of the game designers.
