Active
entertainment in an enjoyable social setting.
Who
Are We?
Copy Cats Square Dance Club has been in existence since 1970.
We began as a club for Xerox, and that is how we obtained our
name.
One of our main objectives is to promote friendliness and good
fellowship through square dancing.
We are part of the Rochester Area Federation of Round & Square
Dance Clubs, a non-profit organization and part of a national
network of square dance clubs.
An
Invitation For You
Membership to Copy Cats is open to anybody who would like to learn
how to square dance.
Come join us at an 'Open House', usually held in September.
Here we'll show you a few basic steps which will help you start dancing
right away.
Our dances are informal: Comfort and informality are the rule for
many occcasions, although some dancers choose variations of
Western wear for special dances. You can do as little or as
much as you want. Whatever you choose, be sure to wear
comfortable shoes and clothes that don't restrict movement.
Our dances are also social: Breaks between dances allow time
for refreshments and conversation.
