The Hoey Family
The SAMUEL HOEY (HOY) family originally came from Ireland to Pennsylvania around 1770. SAMUEL was a PA Frontier soldier during the Revolution. After the War he moved his family to Westmoreland County (western PA) as one of the early settlers.
