A Night Like This

This is the album that was never actually released and yet even without that release brought so many things to Kyle Vincent. Recorded and ready to go, record label politics and red tape shelved the project and it's release never saw the light of day. Yet the music on this album is still very much sought out. As the saying goes, "You never forget your first time" and for many, the music from this album was their first solo Kyle Vincent musical experience. And though he just keeps getting better, there's something so very special about this album....more than just those memories but some very solid, very powerful music that can and WILL stand the test of time.

TReleased quietly as an import a few years ago, this album is now out of print but can occasionally be found on ebay. A few of the tracks from this album have been included in Kyle's most current release, Gathering Dust.

Originally the title track off this album, it stands the test of time. Musically and lyrically.

This is one of those songs where it's hard to single out one or two special lyrics. They just flow throughout the entire song.song

How does a song this powerful and this special get shelved by a record company? How can anyone hear this song and not be moved? If you haven't heard this song you're missing a special moment. The orchestration in this one is amazing. Kyle's voice couldn't be smoother or more powerful. But those ever special lyrics in this song.......WOW! This one is a definite "translation" from the song's original "lost love" thought process for me. But listen to the lyrics of this song....and if you've ever lost someone close to you.....this one can go so much deeper. A very special song with some extremely special lyrics.
