Milwaukee based jazz guitarist Paul Silbergleit has that straight ahead style that puts you in touch with the core of what jazz is all about. As well as having studied and absorbed the language of jazz this fine guitarist has the facility to pull off his original jazz ideas in a logical and engaging  way. Silbergleit is also a prolific song writer. Nine tunes on his most recent CD including the title track “My New Attitude” are from his own pen and showcases Paul’s roots in the great tradition of jazz guitar trio. This trio which includes bassist Charles Ledvina and drummer Dave Bayles is a tight working band whose members have loads of experience working together for years. Well known for his melodic - “guitar like” bass solos, Ledvina is a joy to hear. Bayles’ drumming adds rhythmic ideas that always support a soloist with a solid presence
