The Ashwaubenon High School Jazz Ensemble is under the direction of Marc Jimos.  The band consists of mostly upper classman from Ashwaubenon High School’s band program.  The ensemble rehearses two days a week outside of the school day.  Students are exposed to a wind range of musical styles and compositions.

The band participates in a large number of community performances and jazz festivals around the Midwest.  In the past they have hosted a wide range of guest artists and clinicians in including: Maynard Ferguson, Bill Chase, Members of the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Steve Turre, Fred Sturm, Jeff Jarvis, Steve Wiest, Bob Bacca, and Woody Mankowski.

The band spent two days this past summer working at the Fallen Timbers Environmental Preserve rehearsing for their performance at the Fox Jazz Festival.
