We welcome back this year
the Kaukauna High School Jazz Strings.
The Kaukauna High School Orchestra studies and performs many different
styles of music, including classical music from different time periods,
ethnic styles such as Celtic, Klezmer, Mariachi and Mideastern music,
and especially America's own music Jazz.
Each year for the past three years the KHS Orchestra has hosted a jazz
strings festival featuring guest artists such as Randy Sabien,
Martin Norgaard, Matt Turner and Mark Urness. The orchestra was
selected to perform at the Wisconsin Music Eduactor's convention in
2008 and has won many superior ratings in concert festivals and
solo/ensemble festivals.
