This is our 20g Anenome tank.

We started setting it up February 2006, wanting a zoa and ricordia tank! After setting the 180, we decided to take the zoa / ricordia tank down and only have the one tank. That was all good until Bobbi seen a deep purple LTA - then we had a new direction!

This pair of maroon clowns are the lucky owners of the pair of anenomes!

Lighting -

Starts out with an hour of standard florescent PC bulbs, then 2 24", 75W VHO's come on for 8hrs, then off for a final hour of the PC's.

Filtration -

Basically an AquaClear 100 hangon filter modified to house a heater and a refugium. It is lighted by a florescent PC and grows some good cheata and pods.

Anenomes -

Purple Long tenicle (PLTA) - It was sold to us as a pink LTA, but thanks to Reef Central, i was informed we had an unhealthy purple LTA. Fortunately for us, it pulled through and is very happy in it's new home.

Rose bubble tipped (RBTA) - This we got private at a very good deal. It split on us shortly after we got it, so we were able to make some money back.

Feeding -

Both are fed by the clowns daily flakes and frozen recipe, plus we feed Selcon and Zoe Marine soaked shrimp once a week.

Water Changes -

Try to do 5g once a month, going to change that to bi-weekly now. I am now using Reef Crystals. Was using Tropic MArine Pro, but price is just too much. Set new salt to 1.025.
