My Story of Suffering

In June of 2002, I was stricken with an attack of gall stone pancreatitis.  The case was severe and the complications many.  I spent six months in the hospital enduring two laparotomies (complete openings of the abdomen), tubes draining abscesses, ports in my chest for antibiotics and intravenous feedings and two surgeries for an ileostomy bag hanging from my side.  I almost died.  After almost two years, I have almost completely recovered from this ordeal.
