Faye was my once-in-a-lifetime dog and I miss her terribly. She and I had a very special bond and I'm very grateful for the 12 years we had together. We accomplished a lot in that time and it's all because she was so willing to do anything and everything I asked of her. She was a wonderful show dog and a great agility and rally partner. She got her CD even though she wasn't crazy about obedience and even tried hunting just because I wanted her to. She loved to go places and do things and especially enjoyed seeing all her canine and human friends.
Although cancer took her from us too soon, I'm thankful that her illness was swift and her suffering only lasted a few short weeks. She remained a loving, loyal friend until the very end and she will never be forgotten. Rest in peace my beautiful girl.

Colby's most outstanding quality is her exuberant, fun-loving personality. She enjoys EVERYTHING, but her absolute favorite thing to do is chase "sunlight fairies". She's obsessed with reflections and will keep herself entertained with them for hours. She's a good little agility dog and now that we've started over in Preferred, we're having a lot more fun together. I've finally stopped trying to make her into a Faye clone and just let her be herself. Now that she's eleven years old, we'll just concentrate on having fun with an occasional agility trial and maybe put her back in the show ring in Veteran sweeps at Specialties.

Victor was my first competition dog, we learned everything together - conformation, agility and obedience. I'm sure it was hard for him because I took everything very seriously and he was an extremely soft dog so as a result, he didn't have as much fun doing things as he should have. I did learn a lot at poor Victor's expense and when Faye came along, he got to retire from competition and just enjoy being a dog, playing catch and laying in the sun. He led a good, long life, gave us 14 years of companionship and will always be remembered.

Harold was a great dog, he was perfectly happy just being himself. He wasn't a show or competition dog but his personality was second to none. He LOVED to play frizbee and would have played until he dropped if you let him. He also LOVED breakfast and dinner and would spend a lot of time in the kitchen helping Steve cook. His motto was "good things come to dogs who wait" and more often than not he got his reward just waiting patiently for some tidbit to fall his way. He was our faithful companion for 13 years and he's missed a great deal.

Eddie is a big, loveable goober and a fun dog to work with but is also quite a handful. The best word to describe him is macho, he has a very high opinion of himself and thinks he is the fastest, smartest, most handsome dog around. We're currently concentrating on obedience, both regular and Rally, and will tackle agility in the future. Our competition is on hold until he matures a bit and becomes more reliable, especially off-lead. He loves critters of all kinds so he's an enthusiastic hunter and loves to run in the field. Everything he attempts he does so with gusto so once we finally get it together, he'll be awesome.

It would be hard to find a more loveable dog than Josie. She loves to snuggle and Velcro herself to anyone who happens to be sitting on the couch and is perfectly content just being a homebody. She does like to go out with the others to run in the field and shows a bit of interest in hunting so who knows, maybe she'll turn into a hunter someday. She's also quite fond of playing tug-of-war with Eddie and Olive, loves to splash around in the pool at home and especially loves her Saturday morning dance ritual with Steve when their song comes on the radio.
