HISTORY
The Hospitality Chorus was originally part of the Dayton Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Organized in 1943, they met at the Elks Club on East Fifth Street in Dayton. By 1953, the Dayton Suburban Chapter had split off and the remaining chorus was meeting at the Druids Club on Fifth Street. In ‘54, they were meeting in the Alpha Supper
Club on Route 35 just east of Beavercreek. Eventually, more members were residents of Xenia so the chapter re-chartered in 1958 as the Xenia Chapter and has been meeting in Xenia ever since.
