Ms. Lauren Taylor became intrigued with writing and film when she was very young. She watched movies like "Waxwork", "Labyrinth", "Lost Boys" and "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" a million times each - while creating her own characters and costumes for the movies. No, she really isn't a nutter, just more creative than you are!

In high school, she began writing her first screenplay, "Resinous Bullets", after falling for Quentin Tarantino. She met him a few years ago. He thinks she's a sweetheart and gave her a few hugs and kisses.

She received a Bachelor of Arts from Westminster College in 2001 studying History, English, Communications and Fine Arts. During this time she finalized her feature script "Resinous Bullets".

In 2001, Lauren co-wrote "Untitled" (2003) with 'Erik' (Roger) Tinch. Erik thinks he's a hot shot because he won some awards - but Lauren poses this:
"Roger 'Erik' Tinch."
Your response: "Who?"
"Exactly."

In 2003, Lauren received her Masters of Arts from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Focusing her graduate studies on horror film, television & literature and culture, Lauren's thesis, proudly titled "The Horror Genre" is a well known piece of work now with the MALS program at UMKC.

Lauren began teaching classes such as "Silent Horror Classics", "They're Us: The Living Dead in Film" and "Reflections of Society in the Buffyverse" after graduation. She even presented at the Slayage Conference (An Academic Conference on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.) She taught "Reflections of Society in the Horror Genre" and "Classic Horror in a Modern World."

In 2005, she wrote "The Lock of Time" based on the hit series "Doctor Who". It's better than the new series all together minus the eps written by Steven Moffat. And FYI, Lauren has a thing for Tom Baker aka the Fourth Doctor. She also wrote an X-Men book called "Deviant Strain".

In 2006, she wrote "The Phantom" and "Hampton Court" - novels based on the hit TV series "Supernatural" created by Eric Kripke. They are really good! In 2007, Lauren self published her first novel, "The Angels Wept Tonight." Two sequels, "The Resurrection of Lazarus" and "A Grasshopper Does Not Only Turn" where completed the same year. All of these books are available at Lulu.com.

Lauren Taylor raises Sea Monkeys and takes ballet. She once played guitar with Green Day (ask for more pics of that - she was wearing her Tom Baker tshirt that night). She likes to drink lots of water. Lauren enjoys lindsor tortes and tea with lemon mid-day and English tea at night. She watches too many horror films and can't understand why people enjoy torture porn.

Lauren recently finished "Stricken" - her first full length original novel. It's really good and if you are an agent, you should represent her. She is currently working on the sequel, "Hinder".

"Stricken" was recently turned into a script as well - and of course we are all sure great things shall come of it.
