I claim to be from Oklahoma since I lived there from age 4 to age 23. My parents were both from Oklahoma, but were at an Army base in Louisiana in 1944. I grew up in Newkirk, Oklahoma and graduated from high school in 1962. I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1967. I lived in New Jersey, New York City, Iowa and Arlington Heights, IL in the Chicago area before moving to Dallas. I have lived in the Dallas area since 1977, so I am definitely at home here. I am employed at Elero USA in Dallas, TX. We are a manufacturer of motors and controls for window coverings. The largest portion of our business is in the rolling shutter market. We are also strong in the awning, rolling door, greenhouse, screen, and interior markets. Officially my title is Chief Operating Officer. My son David S. Harned III "Trey" is an artist. He works for Monotype Imaging as the Director of Internet Development.as well as having his own internet design company Digital Coffee Designs. My other son Bryan B. Harned graduated from the University of Florida and is the Development & Design Director for The Arc of Alachua County in Gainsville, FL. He also does web design and writes technology articles at examiner.com. He and Janna were married November 5, 2006 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Golden Qcala Golf & Equestrian Club in Ocala, FL. Check out some pictures from the wedding.
