Drinking Water Filter & Dispenser Addition

I added a GE Smart Water Filter and Dispenser at the kitchen sink.  The filter removes most chlorine and other taste from the water.  Below are the pictures of the install.

The filter is easily accessible from the cabinet door on the back side of the L shaped counter.  I installed a Tee in the cold water supply Qest/Pex tubing.  A short section of tubing was used to transition to the female swivel adapter.  A 1/2" male to 1/4" tubing push fitting was used to connect the filter system supplied tubing.  Pinch or "ear" clamps were used to secure Qest/Pex tubing to fittings.  Jayco uses the same type of clamps when manufacturing RVs.

Since there was not a spray wand hole in the sink, I drilled a hole just large enough to get the dispenser fixture through sink.  The filter is will be replaced each spring after the initial flush of fresh water when de-winterizing and sanitation.  As a note of interest, when winterizing, the filter removes the pink from the antifreeze.
