School House - pictured at left (#1 on map)

Asymetrical in structure, the School House walls were made of amber beer bottles and the interior contained one hundred year old desks and many books (all now in storage). Although the rear wall fell during the eathquake, the majority of the structure is still present. 208 square ft. (photo b.krieger 1961)
