cleopatra's bedroom
Cleopatra's Bedroom (#8 on map)

A horizontally long structure made soley of amber colored bottles. Inside, two separate ground levels were differentiated by steps made of Maniechevitz bottles and jewelry. Four telephone poles covered with Venetian blinds spray painted gold, make up the major structural support. Cleopatra's Bedroom featured furniture and items that Mrs. Prisbrey saw as "exotic", hence the name. Although some wall portions came loose during the Northridge earthquake, 90% of the structure is still intact. 260 square ft. (photo a.skillman 1984)
