Mosaic Walkway (#14 on map)

This walkway extends north from the Little Wishing Well and the first trailer, ending at the front entrance to the shell house. Between the south end of the Rumpus Room and the north end of the Viewing Room, the walk is paralleled by a row of TV picture tubes on which Prisbrey placed various items. The mosaic walk featured thousands and thousands of throwaway objects placed in mortar. Amusing and strange relationships occur between disassociated objects placed next to each other, such as a cigarette lighter next to a gun next to a recipe for french salad dressing. Most of the objects were placed there whole. (photo j.wilson 1995)
